No Future No Cry is a podcast that deep dives into speculative future worlds imagined by leading artists, activists and thinkers, across six immersive episodes.
Creator and Host Syrus Marcus Ware has invited six leading voices in art and activism to write stories about the future, set within a century from now. These stories invite us to experience futures that are at once apocalyptic, beautiful, hopeful, and sacred. Each episode features a different narrated story, followed by a conversation between the authors and Syrus about their hopes, fears, and visions.
No Future No Cry is a collaborative production of Visitor Media and 221A.
No Future No Cry was developed as part of Dr. Syrus Marcus Ware’s fellowship (2022-24) with 221A, a non-profit organization based in Vancouver, Canada that works with artists and designers to research and develop social, cultural and ecological infrastructure.
